What is this element that sets the series apart?
I think the show reminds us that when you're in danger, there are always these people, the firefighters, who will come to you to help you. It's a very optimistic show. Especially in the time we're going through as humanity, what we need is hope. And it's important to know that if we find ourselves in a difficult situation, these heroes will run to save us.

How would you describe the evolution of your character to date?
We've seen him grow. He's matured, from being a dangerous burden on the team he's become a key contributor. He's now a better firefighter, we see him in a more improved state. Initially, his management was wrong, but now he's evolving personally and professionally into a better person.

How did the pandemic affect the filming of the series and what were the biggest challenges you faced?
We have to follow a specific health protocol, we all wear masks, we keep our distance and we do COVID-19 tests three times a week. There are now many obstacles that stand between us and the production, but fortunately we have managed to make it all work. It is important to continue to make series, as it is important to stay safe. Fortunately, so far we have not had any cases and we continue to take all this very seriously and try to keep each other safe.

What is the most physically demanding thing you've done so far on the series?
I stand out two experiences. One is the tsunami episode where I was in the water for hours and swam up and down, which reminded me of what a great exercise swimming is. At the end of that day I was completely exhausted. The other difficult thing I had to do was at the end of season three with the train accident where we had to climb up the overturned car. The car was actually on an incline so trying to climb it and pretend other things than what was happening according to gravity was a big challenge. I remember we came off the set drenched in sweat, exhausted and surprised because we didn't know how difficult it was to begin with.

What role did your participation in "9-1-1" play in your career?
This job has completely changed my career. It's a great privilege to work with such a great cast in such a big production. When I think back to myself 3.5 years ago and who I am today, I feel like a different person and actor. I'm so grateful for this show and to continue this journey.
